Basic alignment
Compare two photos of the same person and intended view. Only safe position, scale, roll and crop normalization is allowed.
Protocol gate
Choose the intended view. A passing photo can be standardized directly; add a previous photo only when you want reference alignment too.

The camera stream stays in the browser. Auto-guide sends a reduced transient frame to this local FastAPI process for PASS/RETAKE; the shutter sends the captured frame once for full analysis. When offline capture is enabled, accepted captures are encrypted into the installed PWA's local queue and re-authorized before upload; online analysis remains transient.
No anatomy-changing transform.
No generative model, face mesh warp, perspective warp, reflection, beautification or feature editing. Standardized outputs are disposable derivatives from similarity transform + crop/canvas only.
